United Way Montcalm-Ionia Counties annual Day of Action, formerly known as Day of Caring is coming up on Friday, August 23, 2013, from 9 am – 12 pm.
If you like hands-on work and seeing immediate results from
your work then we hope you are ready to join us this year. You will make a difference in your Community. We will have several projects this year that
need our attention. Please mark your calendar and round up your friends
and family for August 23, 2013.
The projects we have this year are Great Parents Great Start
(Ionia County ISD), Greenville Optimist Camp (formerly Camp Wah Wah Tay See),
RAVE (Relief After Violent Encounter) and Great Start Montcalm County (Montcalm
Area ISD.
United Way Day of Action underscores how volunteers are
essential to advancing the common good.
·
United Way Day of Action provides an excellent
opportunity for new volunteers to participate in our work while giving a
meaningful way for existing supporters to stay connected.
·
United Way Day of Action is an opportunity to
highlight the Live United campaign, inviting individuals into our work by
volunteering and advocating in the areas of education, income and health.
United Way of Montcalm-Ionia Counties is looking forward to
another wonderful year of success and we hope to have you on board. If you would like to register or would like
